It is recommended that you update your password periodically to ensure maximum security. To change your password, please follow the steps below:
Log into your Rails account.
Click on the Options button (3 Lines) on the top right corner.
Click on Settings.
Input your old password in the Current Password field.
Input your new password in the New Password field.
Re-enter your new password in the Confirm Password to confirm it’s accurate.
Click Change password.
If you have forgotten your login details, please use the following steps to reset your password.
On the Sign In page, click on the Forgot Password? link.
Enter the email associated with your account and click Next.
Go to your email inbox and find the email from Rails. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don’t see it within a few minutes.
Click on the Click to reset your password link as shown below.
Input a new and unique password in the Password field.
Retype your new password in the Re-type Password field to confirm it's accurate.
Click Next.
Your password should now be successfully reset and you can log in within your updated password. If you’re having difficulty logging in, follow these troubleshooting tips:
Confirm you are using the correct email address associated with the account you need access to. If you have a Rails Pro and a Rails Play account, it's common for users to confuse their logins.
Check your spam folder if you haven't received the reset password email.
Password reset links are only good for a period of time. If it has expired, try starting this process over again.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security measure that requires users to provide two distinct forms of identification to login — something you know (password) and something you receive from us (a code sent to you). Rails currently only supports 2FA via email, meaning you are required to get an code sent to your email in order to login.
Complete the following steps to set up 2FA on your account:
Click on the Options button on the far right of the trading page, then click Settings.
Under the Security tab, ensure that the toggle for Two Factor Authentication is turned on.
Enter your log in information on the main sign in screen.
You will be directed to a page requiring a login code. The email will be sent from no-reply@rails.xyz and look like this:
Input the code and click SIGN IN.
Note: If you are using the same device, you can click on "Remember this device for 30 days" and you will not have to complete the 2FA during this time.
