We are required to collect and verify specific information for all individuals who want to trade on Pro to meet regulatory requirements. There are two main steps in the verification process:
The whole process should take less than 5 minutes if you have a valid, government issued ID with you.
Go to the Rails Pro website to create your account.
Click Create Account.
Select Individual as your Account Type, fill in the credentials and click Next.
Check your email for a verification link.
The verification link expires after 30 minutes. Click Resend Link for another opportunity to verify your account.
Click Verify your email address in the email you received.
Once you click the verification link in your email, you should be taken to the Rails login page confirming that your email is verified. Click Sign In.
Enter your login credentials and click Sign in.
Click Continue to begin the Questionnaire.
Select the appropriate option based on your country of residence and click Continue.
Answer all questions in the questionnaire accurately and click Continue at the end of each page.
To upload or capture a photo of your valid government-issued ID, please follow these steps.
Ensure the image is in colour, clearly readable, and all corners are visible.
Select the Issuing country and Document type of your ID and click Continue.
Allow camera access if prompted to do so, then click Continue.
Take a photo:
Line up your ID with your camera, ensuring all corners are visible and there is no glare.
Upload a photo:
Click Continue.
A biometric liveness check confirms your identity by verifying the selfie matches your ID document.
Allow camera access if prompted to do so, then click Continue.
Position your face within the frame, and follow the prompts to move your head.
To verify your address via geolocation click Enable location. Jump to step 20 if you prefer to upload a document.
Your approximate address will be automatically populated for you. Correct or enter any missing details then click Continue.
If you are having issues or don't wish to enable location services, click Upload document to provide documentary proof of address.
You should now see one of the following screens. Read the below table to determine next steps.
Please wait while we verify your information. If processing exceeds a few minutes, your application is under review, and our team will contact you within 1 business day.
Your application has been approved. You can now log into Rails Pro if you're not already redirected there.

After you have read the tips and , click Continue or Continue on phone.
Take or of your ID:
Click the circle button to take a photo.
If you're not happy with the photo, click Replace image and try again or . If you're happy with the photo, click Continue.
Click the photo icon in the bottom left corner.
Click the box containing the upload icon and select a photo from your device.
If there are issues with your photo, you will be prompted to Resubmit and Replace image. Pay careful attention to the warning reasons provided or read these for more help.

Use geolocation by enabling location services on your device, or upload a document (e.g. utility bill), to verify that you don't reside in a .
You must be at home, and VPNs and other location masking tools must be disabled for geolocation to be permitted. Learn more .
Click the box containing the icon and select your document, then click Continue.
Only issued in the last 3 months are accepted.

If you see a failure screen, it means you do not qualify for a Rails Pro account. Read for possible reasons why.
If your account is under review and you haven't heard from us in one business day, or if you need help with the application process, please submit a and our team will contact you as soon as possible.
