Signup for Individuals
We are required to collect and verify specific information for all individuals who want to trade on Rails to meet regulatory requirements. There are two main steps in the verification process:
Choose your username, password, and verify your email.
You'll be asked to answer a few questions to confirm your eligibility for the product, then must complete Know Your Customer (KYC) identity verification.
The whole process should take less than 5 minutes if you have a valid, government-issued ID with you.
Step 1: Account Creation
Go to the Rails website to create your account.
Select Individual, enter your email address and select continue.
Please enter a valid email address, as important communication about your account will be sent here, and your email address cannot be updated.

Enter a username, and a password meeting the criteria. Confirm your password, then click the Create Account button.

Check your email inbox to find your verification email.
Select the resend email button if you did not receive an email.

The verification link expires after 30 minutes. Click Resend Link for another opportunity to verify your account.
Click Verify your email address in the email you received.

When this screen appears, you're ready to sign in, and you're ready to proceed to account verification.

Step 2: Account Verification

If you are in the United States, you will need to accept further attestations before continuing to the next step.
