# Verification

At Rails, we see compliance not just as a requirement, but as a competitive advantage — one that builds trust, strengthens our platform, and helps you trade with confidence. To maintain this high standard, [eligible users](/getting-started/eligibility.md) of Rails must complete [Know Your Customer (KYC) ](/getting-started/verification/know-your-customer-kyc.md)and [Know Your Business (KYB)](/getting-started/verification/know-your-business-kyb.md) (for business accounts) verifications which are detailed in this section of our Help Center:

#### How long does it take to get verified?

If you have all the required documentation and information ready, completing the application should take **no more than 5 minutes for individual accounts** and **5–10 minutes for business accounts.**

Business accounts require a manual review to verify all documentation, but most reviews are completed within 1 business day.
