Bridge

Use Rails to bridge any USDT balance to an available chain.

What is Bridging?

Bridging is the process of moving a token like USDT from one blockchain network to another. The same asset can exist across multiple chains, but funds on one chain can't be used directly on another. A bridge locks or burns your tokens on the source chain and releases the equivalent amount on the destination chain, so your USDT becomes usable on the network you choose. With Rails, your USDT starts on the Ink network and you can bridge it to any supported chain, such as Arbitrum, that better suits where you want to use or hold your funds.

How to bridge USDT

The bridge function lets you move your USDT from the Ink network to other available chains. Ensure you have USDT in your linked wallet before you attempt to bridge.

  1. Click on Withdraw at the top-right-hand corner of the trading page.

  1. Select the Bridge tab on the right, and input:

  • the Amount you want to bridge

  • the Network you want to bridge to

Then click Bridge to continue.

  1. Approve the spending cap limit for the bridging transaction if prompted in your wallet.
