To maintain this high standard, [eligible users](/signing-up/user-eligibility.md) of Rails must complete [Know Your Customer (KYC) ](/signing-up/user-verification/know-your-customer-kyc.md)and [Know Your Business (KYB)](/signing-up/user-verification/know-your-business-kyb.md) (for business accounts) verifications which are detailed in this section of our Help Center.

<summary>How long does it take to get verified?</summary>

If you have all the required documentation and information ready, completing the application should take **no more than 5 minutes for individual accounts** and **5–10 minutes for business accounts.**

Business accounts require a manual review to verify all documentation, but most reviews are completed within 1 business day.
