FAQs
Getting Started
Do I need a Rails account to use Rails Play?
No. Anyone can use Rails Play, provided they meet the eligibility requirements. However, if you win a evaluation, you will need an approved Rails (trade.rails.xyz) account to collect your trading credit rewards. Points do not need a Rails account to be claimed.
What should I do if I can't log in to Rails Play?
Ensure you’re logging in from play.rails.xyz using the correct email address you used to set up your Play account. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies, using an incognito window, or logging in from a different device or browser. If you still can’t log in, you can reset your password anytime using “Forgot Password” from the login page, or contact us for more help.
How much time do I have to pass the evaluation?
There are no time restrictions on completing your evaluation. Learn more about the evaluation criteria & rules here.
Do I need any special skills or training to pass an evaluation?
While no formal training is necessary, Rails Play is designed to help you refine your skills in crypto trading, leverage, and risk management within a simulated trading environment, and earn rewards doing so.
Pricing, Fees & Purchasing
Why are there trading fees deducted if it's simulated capital?
Trading fees are 0.04% per side (opening or closing) and are applied to simulate real market conditions. They impact your account equity and are calculated based on the notional size of each trade. You can view a full breakdown of your fees anytime on the My Account page.
How do I connect to a different wallet to purchase an evaluation?
For those using multiple browser extensions with various wallets, ensure to look for the Disconnect button in the Glide screen. Then, proceed to connect a new wallet and try your purchase again!

I made a payment, but the evaluation account didn't open.
This can happen if the payment was delayed, sent with the wrong token, the amount, or using the wrong wallet address.
What to try:
Wait 60 seconds then refresh your browser.
If you paid via "Transfer from anywhere", double-check that you used the correct currency and network listed during checkout.
Make sure you sent the full amount, including any wallet network fees.
Send us an email from the email account that you signed up with and include your transaction hash and any additional information about what happened. We’ll review and get back to you.
I made an error (i.e., wrong network/token/payment address) when transferring funds.
If you've sent funds using incorrect information, you'll need to contact Glide's support team at [email protected].
I accidentally made a duplicate transfer to the payment address provided.
If you've sent funds to the payment link twice, you may be eligible for a refund of one of the payments. Tthe first payment received by Glide will be recognized, but your second payment won't, and you'll be eligible for a refund of the second payment. You'll need to contact Glide's support team at [email protected].
I've overpaid for my evaluation using the payment link.
If you've overpaid for an evaluation, an evaluation account will be created successfully, but you may be eligible for a refund of the price different. You'll need to contact Glide's support team at [email protected].
Example: if you accidentally paid $30 for a $20 evaluation, the $10 price difference is eligible for refund, and you should contact Glide Support.
How do I connect my wallet if it is not recognized?
If Glide does not recognize any available wallet extensions you have it will allow you to connect to your wallet using a QR code.

Why can't I see the Buy Evaluation button?
If you've won 3 evaluations consecutively, you will need to wait until the Purchase Cooldown period passes, then you'll see the button re-enabled.
There are no restrictions on purchasing if you lose an evaluation.
Evaluations & Trading
Are there any rules I need to follow?
Yes. You need to reach your Profit Target without breaking any of the Evaluation Criteria and Rules.
How are prices determined in the simulation?
Rails Play uses the same Index Price feeds as the main Rails trading platform in the chart. All trades are executed at the Index Price, as there is no live order book or matching engine.
Is trading available 24/7?
Yes. 24/7 trading is available for all supported assets, except during scheduled maintenance or network updates which will be announced in advance.
Can I automate my trades or use trading bots?
No. Rails Play is designed to evaluate individual trading skills and decision-making under live market conditions. Automated trading using bots would be considered prohibited trading practices as outlined here.
Is there a slippage buffer or safety margin?
No. Rails Play operates in a simulated trading environment and no slippage buffer or safety margins are required. All trades are executed at the Index Price shown in your evaluation account.
Why does a small balance remain when I place an order with 100% of my Buying Power?
This is expected - our system calculates order quantity to an 8 decimal place maximum for precision. A small remainder stays due to rounding to 8 decimal places and trading fees. This ensures your order never exceeds available funds.
What trading practices are prohibited during the Rails Play Evaluation?
The following activities:
Using automated trading tools, bots, or scripts.
Exploiting pricing errors, latency, or platform bugs.
Sharing or managing multiple accounts.
Coordinating trades or copying external signals.
Engaging in behavior that manipulates volume or violates the Evaluation Criteria & Rules.
Do you provide any training?
No. Rails Play does not offer training, educational services or trading advice.
Why did I lose the evaluation?
Winning an evaluation is difficult! To win, you need to reach the profit target while not breaking any of the evaluation criteria or rules - you can review your evaluation performance in the My Account page. You can purchase a new evaluation to try again.
My account balance shows I'm above my profit target. Why hasn't my evaluation passed?
You must close your open positions to realize any profits to reach your target equity.
We recommend setting take profit trigger orders to ensure your gains are captured if you're not actively trading.
Rewards
Why can’t I claim my trading credit reward?
You will only be able to claim your reward if all eligibility conditions have been met and you win your evaluation.
If you haven’t opened a Rails account yet, please create one here.
Use the same email as login for both your Rails Play and Rails account.
Note: You must complete sign-up and KYC verification to be eligible to receive the trading credit.
I claimed my trading credit reward but I don’t see it in my Rails account?
Once claimed, Trading Credit Rewards are credited to your main Rails account within minutes. Before contacting support, please confirm the following:
Your Rails account must be active and approved (meaning your KYC verification and country eligibility are confirmed).
Make sure you used the same email for both your Rails Play and Rails account.
Why can’t I withdraw my trading credit?
Trading credits are withdrawal-locked by design. This is real capital that can be used to trade on the Rails platform with leverage up to 5x with no loss limits, and you keep 100% of any realized profits earned, unlike most prop trading firms.
Where can I see my trading credit rewards?
Your reward will show in your Rails account (not Rails Play) as a deposit, and not in your rewards wallet. To view it:
Go to the Portfolio tab.
Select the Reward Credits tab.
Look for your reward listed under the Deposit type. Each reward will show the date, amount, and value credited to your account balance.
