Rails Play V1 Airdrop

Rails Play, our original paper-money trading platform which made way for the Rails you know today, was shutdown in May 2025. Users of Rails Play V1 are eligible for an airdrop of the Rails Token in Q1 2026 as a thank you for being early adopters.

All eligible users have been contacted. If you did not receive an email and do not see your wallet listed on this list, contact us for support.

What are the qualification requirements for the Rails Play airdrop?

The following requirements must be met to qualify:

1. Use Play: You must have had some trading activity on the Rails Play platform.

2. Wallet Connection: You must have connected a wallet to your Play account before June 13th 2025.

3. Customers Only: You cannot be a current employee, investor or affiliate of Rails - this airdrop will go directly to our customers.

How will the Rails token be allocated to users?

A token pool of 750,000 Rails Tokens will be distributed to all qualifying users. Users will be ranked based on two qualifiers:

1. Total historical points and tokens earned (70%): The highest points earners receive 70% of the token pool. This includes all points earned from placing on the leaderboards, referral bonuses, X-Connect rewards, etc.

2. Trading volume (30%): 30% is distributed across all users regardless of points earned. This considers total lifetime trading volume, including both open and closed positions regardless of win/loss outcome.

This structure is intended to recognize all eligible users, with additional rewards for those who demonstrated exceptional performance on the Rails Play platform.

Tokens are distributed using the following formula:

$T(r) = m + R \cdot \frac{(1 - p)}{(1 - p^{N})} \, p^{\,r-1}$

Where

• $T(r)$ is the tokens awarded to the user at rank $r$.

• $m$ is the minimum number of points awarded (250 in this case).

• $N$ is the total number of users ranked under each qualifier.

• $L$ is the total token pool (525,000 for the 1st qualifier, and 225,000 for the 2nd qualifier).

• $R$ is the remaining points above the minimum, calculated as $L-mN$.

• $p$ is a constant between 0 and 1 that defines the distribution (0.98 in this case).

When will the airdrop occur?

The Rails Play airdrop will occur following our token launch in Q1 2026. The date is going to be announced very soon!

We contacted all eligible users via email notifying them of their eligibility, and the final list can be found here.

How will we receive the airdrop if we qualify?

We are in the process of finalizing how this will work. Clear instructions will be provided directly to all users via email and social channels closer to the launch. Tokens will be subject to the vesting schedules outlined in the whitepaper.
