🆕Sub-Accounts
Sub Accounts are now available on Rails!
Rails sub-accounts let you manage certain account activity independently while keeping everything tied to your primary Rails account and wallet.
What is a sub-account?
A sub-account is a separate account created under your main Rails account, that has its own balance and activity tracking, but uses the same linked and connected wallet as your main account.
How sub-accounts work on Rails
Your Rails account acts as your main account, and is the default account set up when you signup. with Rails.
Each sub-account:
Is treated as a separate account
Has its own balances and activity
Shares the same linked and connected wallet as the main account
Transfers between accounts are not supported at this time

At present, your main account is where you:
Connect or link a wallet to your account.
Find your Daily or Monthly Statements
Statements for sub-accounts aren't available just yet, however you can export the data itself from the sub-accounts Portfolio screen.
Make Deposits
Deposits to sub-accounts are not currently supported, but withdrawals operate similarly to your main account.

Play Sub-Account Profit Share
Rails Play sub-accounts operate using trading credits provided by Rails Play. These trading credits are used exclusively for trading and are not able to be withdrawn under any circumstances.
For more information about Rails Play Trading Credit Rewards, visit the article here.
When a withdrawal is requested, profits generated above the value of the trading credits are eligible for withdrawal and are subject to an 80/20 profit split, where 80% is paid to the trader and 20% is retained by Rails.
Example:
You are granted a $200 trading credit credited to your Rails Play Sub-Account.
Your trading activity generates a profit, and the sub-account balance is now $1,198.00.

The available to withdraw amount is calculated as follows:
($1,198 − $200) × 0.8 = $998
Additionally, fees are charged at your dynamic fee tier rate
Fees in the example here are $0.80
In this example, a request to withdraw $998 from your sub-account equates to a withdrawal total of $797.60 to the user's connected wallet.
