Before you can deposit funds to your Rails Play account you must obtain STABLE on the Base network via these steps:
First, obtain ETH or USDC on the main Ethereum Network.
Next you must bridge your layer 1 token to the Base Network.
Last, you will need to swap your layer 2 ETH or USDC for STABLE.
If you don't already have ETH or USDC in your wallet, you will need to purchase some from your preferred exchange (e.g. Coinbase, Kraken). Be sure to use a compatible wallet.
Once you've obtained Layer 1 ETH or USDC you must bridge the amount you wish to deposit to the Base network (which is a layer 2 network) as follows:
Go to the bridging application of your choice (options below):
Connect your Base-enabled wallet by clicking on the appropriate wallet extension.
Click Connect in the extension.
Navigate back to the bridging site and set the following:
From: Ethereum
To: Base
Token: ETH or USDC
You Send: The quantity of ETH or USDC you want to bridge. This will be your approximate deposit amount.
Follow the prompts in your wallet to complete the transaction.
Jump to the next section to swap your layer 2 ETH or USDC for STABLE.
Once you have bridged your tokens to the Base network, you must swap them for STABLE as follows:
Visit Uniswap on Base.
Connect your Base-enabled wallet.
Click Connect in the wallet browser extension.
Input the following:
Sell: ETH or USDC
Buy: StableMEME (STABLE)
WARNING: Make sure you are swapping for the correct token. Search for STABLE using the contract address.
Contract address: 0xc74d23c560536c7c67ad5e7a04367055e233a096
Amount: The quantity of ETH or USDC you want to swap. This will be your approximate deposit amount.
Click Review.
Follow the prompts to Approve and Swap.
In your wallet, Approve the transaction to give Uniswap Protocol permission to swap the token.
Also in your wallet, Sign the message.
Confirm the Swap in your wallet which will submit the transaction to the blockchain.
You will see “Swap success” and a green checkmark if it was successful. You can also review your activity to make sure the swap was successful.
Once you have completed these steps to obtain STABLE for trading on Rails Play, you can connect your wallet.
