Before you can deposit funds to your Rails Pro account you must obtain USDT on the Ink network (USDâ‚®0) via these steps:

Get Layer 1 ETH or USDC

First, obtain ETH or USDC on the main Ethereum Network.

Next you must bridge your layer 1 token to the Ink Network.

Last, you will need to swap your layer 2 ETH or USDC for .

Step 1: Get ETH or USDC

If you don't already have ETH or USDC in your wallet, you will need to purchase some from your preferred exchange (e.g. Coinbase, Kraken). Be sure to use a .

Step 2: Bridging to Layer 2

The first step once you've obtained Layer 1 ETH or USDC is to bridge the amount you wish to deposit to the Ink network (which is a layer 2 network).

  1. Visit .

  2. Click on Connect to add your wallet.

  1. Click Connect in your wallet extension.

  1. In the From area set the following:

    1. Chain: Ethereum

    2. Token: ETH or USDC

    3. Amount: What quantity of the asset you want to bridge. This will be your approximate deposit amount.

  2. In the To area set the following:

    1. Chain: Ink

    2. Token: ETH

  1. Click Review.

  1. Click Swap on the quote summary pop up to finalize the transaction.

  1. Click Confirm on your wallet extension to approve transaction.

Step 3: Swapping for USDT

If you already have ETH or USDC on the layer 2 Ink network, you will then need to swap for USDT as outlined here:

  1. If your wallet is not already connected, click Connect.

  2. In the From area set the following:

    1. Chain: Ink

    2. Token: ETH

    3. Amount: What quantity of the asset you want to swap. This will be your approximate deposit amount.

  3. In the To area set the following:

    1. Chain: Ink

      • WARNING: Make sure you are swapping for the correct token. Search for USDT using the contract address.

      • The token address is: 0x0200C29006150606B650577BBE7B6248F58470c1

  1. Click Review.

  1. Click Swap on the quote summary pop up to finalize the transaction..

  1. Click Confirm on your wallet extension to approve transaction..
